Overview of Inventory Dashboard

• The inventory dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of sales, inventory values, stock re-order levels and product expiry statuses. It helps users efficiently manage inventory and monitor sales performance.

Sections and Metrics

1. Sales Overview

   • Sales-Today: Displays the total amount for the current day
   • Sales - This Week: Shows the cummulative sales amount for the current week
   • Sales - This Month: Indicates the total sales amount for the current month.
   • Sales - Last Quarter: Provides the total sales amount for the last quarter
   • Total Product: The total number of distinct products in the inventory.

2. Inventory Value

   • Inventory Value at Current Cost Price: Shows the total value of inventory based on the current cost price of all items.
   • Inventory Value at Current Selling Price: Displays the total value of inventory based on the current selling price of all items.

3. Stock Re-order Level

   • This section helps track the inventory levels and re-order points for various products.
   • Product: THe name or desciption of the product
   • Quantity at Hand: THe current quantity of the product in stock
   • Re-order Level: THe minimim stock level at which a new order should be placed to replisnish the stock.

4. Near to Expiry

   • This seaching highlights products that are nearing their expiration dates allowing timely action to manage these items

5. Expired Items

   • This section lists products that have already expired ensuring these items are identified and removed from sale or stock
