Charts of Account is a structured list of a business's general ledger accounts. It provides a systematic way to organize and categorize financial transactions. It is very important to set up your charts of account before inputting any data.

To create Charts of Account, On the Account page,

1. Select Charts of Account
2. Select New Account
3. Enter the Account Name. Eg. Transportation, Rent, Fuel loans
4. Select the Account Type, Eg. Expense, Capital, Current Liability
5. Checked the box if you want to specify an account code
